Ladies Open Singles Title Winners
The Open Championship is held every year. From 1926 until 1948 the the trophy was called The Grange Cup. In 1937 this cup was won outright by Miss H. Furney having won it for three years in succession. The new trophy was called The Furney Cup which was won outright in 1941 by Miss U. Harpur. The new cup was called the Harpur Cup. It was played for until 1947 when it was won outright by Miss M. Nichols. The replacement cup was called the Fitzgibbon Cup and it and is still being played for currently.
