Newsletter - Volume 7, Issue 1, January - March 2010
We had a frosty start to the year again with the snow again making an appearance and putting a halt to all things tennis for far too long.
Have a look at how the courts were looking

24 HOUR OPEN TENNIS MARATHON
in aid of
VICTIMS of the HAITI EARTHQUAKE
Saturday 20th March from 12 noon
Congratulations to everyone who took part in the 24 Hour Tennis Marathan that was held in aid of the victims of the Haiti Earthquake.
A very big "Thank you" to those who made generous donations of supplies and also those who kindly helped out over the weekend.
The tournament allowed us to make €4000 through the amount of people playing tennis and also in kitchen sales. The table quiz and raffle we believe have raised approx €2000.
A huge congratulations also has to go to the "Marathon Man" Daniel Laura who sucessfully managed to play all of the 24 hours of the tennis marathon.
Well Done to every one on a very successful event!
