Charity Tournament 2009

Chernobyl Childrens Project International

A charity American tournament in aid of the Chernobyl Childrens Project International was held on Saturday 25th July. Almost 90 players attended and we are very proud to say that we raised in excess of two thousand euro.Thank you to all who contributed to this event and made it a great success. Thank you also to all our court sponsors on the night:- Oliver Murphy Insurance Brokers, Ashcourt Business Services, Chestnuts @ The Cove, Molloys Butchers. Many thanks are also due to The Pantry & The McGrath Family for providing catering services free of charge on the night and to Dawn Meats, Gerry Walsh Fruit & Veg and Ardkeen Quality Foodstores for providing all the delicious food.
Congratulations to Lorraine Walsh, Event Organiser and to Margaret Corkery on a very sucessful night. It was a great evening, the weather was very kind to us and a fun time was had by all.
